Graduates with Work Experience are at an Advantage
A survey of more than 180,000 graduates from the leading 30 universities in the United Kingdom revealed that those who have had internships are three times more likely to secure jobs, compared to those with no work experience. More than one in three respondents had interned with a prospective employer, and before they leave university, students would have submitted an average of seven job applications each. Researchers have estimated that employers will get 427,000 job applications for graduate entry jobs this year.
