Why Babies Can Be Excellent Grammarians
Research has shown that babies actually "babble" grammatically as they copy speech patterns and grammatical nuances and incorporate them in their baby babble. As such, some educators believe that grammar should be taught at a very young age. Since it is believed that young children have an instinct for grammar, it shouldn't be that hard for them to master it, right?
